An NGO with one purpose: ending poverty
Farzand Ali Welfare Trust was founded by Muhammad Abdullah and is based in Islamabad. Everything we do is measured against a single question: does it help a family move out of poverty?
Our mission
To work toward ending poverty by standing with people in need: helping families meet their basic needs today, and helping them build the skills, income and stability to support themselves tomorrow.
Our vision
A Pakistan where no family is held back by poverty, and where every person can live with security, dignity and hope.
What we hold ourselves to
- Dignity first
- People who come to us are partners, not cases. We listen before we act, and we never use anyone’s hardship for publicity.
- Honest with every rupee
- Donors deserve to know where their money goes. We keep records, answer questions openly, and report only what has actually happened.
- Lasting change over quick fixes
- Emergency help matters, but our aim is the day a family no longer needs help at all.
- Rooted in community
- Neighbours know their neighbourhood best. We work with local people, volunteers and partners rather than around them.
